Champagne Cowgirl began with a belief I could not shake: life gives us more reasons to celebrate than we allow ourselves to notice.
For nearly thirty years, my work has been about bringing people together around hope. I have helped communities raise glasses, raise funds and stand beside people in difficult seasons. Champagne Cowgirl does not erase or disrespect that work. It grows from the same instinct, expressed through joy, hospitality, agriculture, travel and the decision to notice the good while it is happening.
I am a farmer's daughter from six generations of agricultural roots. I learned early that good things do not always appear by accident. They are tended, protected, gathered and shared. I also learned that the hands behind the finished product matter. A bottle is never only a bottle. It carries land, weather, risk, patience, craft and family. Champagne Cowgirl exists to honor those hands and bring people closer to the stories inside the pour.
Travel widened that understanding. At seventeen, an AFS exchange took me to Lisbon and showed me that crossing a border can change the way you see your own home. Years later, a rainy day in Epernay with my niece, two croissants tucked into our pockets, made Champagne feel familiar rather than remote. It felt like Napa and Sonoma, a place shaped by families, agriculture and pride in work. That day helped me understand that premium experiences do not need to feel distant or intimidating. They can feel warm, personal and deeply human.
Champagne Cowgirl first took shape as a champagne and premium sparkling wine club featuring small family growers. The wine, travel and storytelling came first. The product insight arrived later, at a horse barn, when beautiful wine was poured into enamel camping coffee cups. I loved the nostalgic campware feeling, but the vessel flattened the experience. The bubbles, aroma, posture and sense of occasion disappeared. The moment deserved better.
That question became the Camp Coupe™ and then the Adventure SySTEM™: how can we preserve the ritual of proper stemware while letting it travel into the places where life is actually lived? A campsite. A vineyard. A trail. A horse barn. A firepit. A beach. A backyard. A table with one more chair pulled close.
This company came into focus during a season of surrender, prayer and listening. I stopped forcing the next chapter and began trusting that the experiences I had collected were not random. Agriculture, travel, fundraising, hospitality, Champagne, storytelling and community belonged together. The sentence that steadied me was simple: I was built for this, and I am exactly where I am supposed to be.
Champagne Cowgirl is my invitation to take the good bottle, gather the people, honor the hands that brought it to us and celebrate the tiny moments that make life feel full. Not someday. Not only when the occasion is grand enough. Today is worthy enough.
